Enhanced bond trading experience on etrade.com

We are pleased to introduce an enhanced E*TRADE bond trading experience, featuring a comprehensive set of integrated features and an updated look and feel.  Streamlined and intuitive, the upgraded Bond Resource Center and Order Ticket wraps a robust view of the market and straightforward trading capabilities together in a single location.

When you’re ready to take action, you can now quickly access the new Fixed Income Order Ticket from the Place a Trade tab located on the Bond Resource Center navigational menu. We’ve also increased searching capabilities, allowing you to input CUSIP, Ticker, or Issuer Name to screen for bond offerings and view results, straight from the ticket.

This upgrade includes the incorporation of vital data onto the new bond order ticket which can be used to help you dig deeper into market activity, discover potential opportunities, and monitor account activity easily -- all from the same location. Now available within the order ticket:

• Snapshot: reference a display of the US Treasury Yield curve chart, then upon searching a specific security, view key bond details such as yield and coupon rate, maturity date and ratings and more. Additionally, you can now browse a longer price history lookback period from our expanded and scrollable TRACE/MSRB recent trade activity table.
• Positions: quickly access your current holdings, and easily add to or liquidate a position using the buy and sell buttons at the base of the table.
• Open Orders: keep an eye on your active orders directly within the ticket. From this location you can take action to view order details or submit a cancel request – without needing to navigate to the Orders Page.

The new order ticket will now seamlessly transition your buy or sell order into a bid or offer wanted quote request depending on the availability of live dealer markets. You will no longer need to use a separate quote request tool to accommodate these flows.

• Immediately view trade commission and  estimated  total cost/proceeds from the order entry stage of the ticket without needing to advance to the preview screen
• The “Additional details” section has been expanded to provide access to our new Material Events overlay, as well as our Depth of Market feature so you can easily review other dealer offers.
